Pim Pullens

Professional bio

Pim is an MR physicist and biomedical engineer with extensive expertise in MR physics and cognitive neuroscience. He earned his degree in Biomedical Engineering from Eindhoven University of Technology in 2006, followed by a PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience from Maastricht University in 2012.

Pim’s academic journey includes a visiting professorship at the Department of Biomedical Engineering in 2021. In 2024, he became an assistant professor in the same department, focusing on MR physics and advancing biomedical research. He joined GIfMI in 2018.

As the operational director of CORE GIfMI since 2021, Pim is responsible for overseeing the facility’s day-to-day operations. He ensures the smooth integration of technical services, supports innovative research, and maintains the highest standards of quality within the facility.
